Michael became a member of the University College in April 2013. Originally from Greensboro, N.C., he graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Spanish. After working as a paralegal in Raleigh for several years, Michael entered graduate school at the University of South Carolina, earning his Master’s in Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs in 2007. Prior to joining UNCC’s University Advising Center, Michael worked as an admissions counselor at Winthrop University for over five years. During his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. He is an avid sports fan with a particular passion for college basketball. Michael looks forward to the opportunity to assist students as they determine which major to pursue at UNCC.
